This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion due to colds, allergies, and vasomotor rhinitis. The tablet and syrup formulations also help alleviate tear symptoms, while the capsule formulation is mainly used to improve cold and allergy symptoms. Patients are advised that this medication is effective in relieving symptoms when they experience these issues.

Precautions
This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which can occasionally lead to severe skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If fever, skin rash, or small pustules occur during the use of this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. There are instances when this medication should not be taken. People who have previously experienced allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to this medication should not take it. Patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction or severe heart disease should also avoid this medication. Patients with urinary disorders that affect urination, hypertension, and coronary artery disease should exercise caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should not take this medication. Infants under the age of 2 should not take this medication. Patients taking certain antidepressants or MAO inhibitors should also avoid this medication. Individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, it is advised not to take it with blood pressure medications, alcohol, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, sympathomimetics, and certain antidepressants. Specifically, if an MAO inhibitor has been taken, this medication should only be started at least 15 days afterwards. It is advisable to avoid activities that require concentration, such as driving or operating machinery, while taking this medication. Individuals with asthma, glaucoma, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or benign prostatic hyperplasia should consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking. Children under the age of 12 should also consult a specialist before use. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days after taking this medication or if a high fever develops, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. If symptoms related to the central nervous system, such as sedation, drowsiness, anxiety, visual disturbances, hallucinations, or muscle spasms occur, discontinue use immediately. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or burning sensations, or unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or difficulty urinating also require consultation after discontinuing use. In the case of overdose, symptoms such as hallucinations, seizures, nervousness, dizziness, and insomnia may occur, and in such cases, immediate medical attention should be sought. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight, and kept in its original container to maintain the quality of the medication.

Interactions
Do not take this medication with MAO inhibitors, antihypertensives, central nervous system depressants (sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers), sympathomimetics, tricyclic antidepressants, guanethidine, bretylium, beta-nide, debrisoquine, methyldopa, sympathomimetic drugs (decongestants, appetite suppressants, stimulant amphetamines), and alpha and beta adrenergic blockers.
