Combination therapy for HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer with specific gene mutations
This medication is used in adult patients with breast cancer that is hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative when there are mutations in PIK3CA, AKT1, or PTEN. It is particularly applied to patients whose cancer has progressed during or after endocrine therapy, or those with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer that has recurred within 12 months of adjuvant therapy. In such cases, it is administered in combination with Fulvestrant to enhance therapeutic efficacy. Therefore, it is effectively used for the treatment of breast cancer patients who meet these conditions.

Take this medicine at the same time each day. Continue treatment until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurs. Do not administer on days 5, 6, or 7. After discontinuing the strong or moderate CYP3A inhibitor (after 3–5 times the inhibitor’s half-life), resume this medicine at the dose used before starting concomitant treatment with the CYP3A inhibitor.
