Treatment and maintenance therapy effect for gastric ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (erosive, ulcerative)
This medication is used to treat gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, as well as erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. Additionally, it is suitable for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease, helping to prevent recurrence of symptoms and maintain a healthy esophageal condition. It is utilized to improve digestive health for patients.
For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: 20/800 mg can be taken orally once per day based on symptoms. Typically, it is given for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: administer 20/800 mg orally once daily for 4-8 weeks. If there is no response after 8 weeks of treatment with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), an additional 20/800 mg can be taken orally twice daily for another 8 weeks.
