Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions to certain ingredients, those taking atazanavir or rilpivirine, or in pregnant or nursing women. Patients with impaired liver function, elderly patients, those with a history of drug allergies, patients with heart or lung function problems, and patients with severe gastrointestinal ulcers should use it cautiously. Caution is also needed for patients with electrolyte imbalances or those who need to restrict sodium intake. This medication may cause allergic reactions such as rash or itching, so it should be discontinued immediately if symptoms occur. Regular blood tests may be necessary due to potential changes in red or white blood cell counts. Liver function tests should also be conducted regularly, and if symptoms of hepatitis or jaundice occur, use should be discontinued. Cardiac-related symptoms have also been reported, so patients with heart conditions should be particularly cautious. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and nausea may occur, and in severe cases, consultation with a healthcare provider is recommended. Neurological abnormalities such as headaches, dizziness, and insomnia have also been reported, so symptoms should be monitored carefully. Respiratory symptoms, skin rashes, hair loss, and visual disturbances may also occur, so any unusual signs should be reported to medical staff. This medication contains sodium, so caution is needed for patients with edema or hypertension, and regular checks are important due to the risk of fractures and the possibility of hypomagnesemia with long-term use. Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery due to the possibility of drowsiness. There may be interactions with other medications, so patients should inform their healthcare provider of any current medications. Safety has not been established during pregnancy or lactation, so it should not be used, and special care should be taken for the elderly due to the potential for adverse reactions from liver function decline. Safety in pediatric patients has not been established, so it is recommended not to use it. In case of overdose, no specific antidote is available, so appropriate treatment should be provided based on symptoms, and tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing or crushing. Keep out of reach of children and avoid transferring to other containers.
