Careful monitoring is needed for initiation or continuation of treatment if blood tests show low levels of neutrophils, lymphocytes, or hemoglobin. It is safer not to use this medication in combination with other immunosuppressants, and since drug residues may be excreted in feces, healthcare professionals should be informed if there are any abnormalities.
