How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to the active ingredient or any of its components. Patients with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis should not take this medication. Patients with very poor kidney function, specifically those with a glomerular filtration rate below 30 mL/min/1.73m2, end-stage renal disease, or those undergoing dialysis should not use this medication. This medication contains lactose and should not be administered to patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution is required during driving or operating machinery due to the risk of hypoglycemia, especially when used in combination with insulin. Pregnant women should avoid using this medication, and it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It is recommended to suspend breastfeeding when taking this medication. Safety and efficacy in children have not been established, so it is not used in those under the age of 18.
