Improvement and maintenance treatment of asthma symptoms
This medication helps effectively manage asthma symptoms in adult patients with asthma whose symptoms are not well controlled by existing treatments, by using a long-acting beta2-agonist and an inhaled corticosteroid once daily. It is used to prevent the worsening of asthma symptoms and improve respiratory function.
Inhale one capsule of this medication at a dose of 150/50/80 micrograms or 150/50/160 micrograms once daily. Attach one capsule of this medication to the attached inhaler and inhale through the mouth. This medication is for inhalation only; do not swallow the capsule. It must be administered using the attached Breezhaler inhaler, at the same time every day. Do not exceed once daily administration.
The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in pediatric and adolescent patients under 18 years of age.
This medication should not be used for the treatment of acute asthma symptoms or acute bronchospasm. If short-acting bronchodilators are used more frequently than usual to relieve asthma symptoms, it is a sign that asthma control is worsening, and medical attention should be sought. Sudden discontinuation of treatment may cause a return of asthma symptoms; therefore, it should not be stopped arbitrarily without a doctor's directive. If asthma symptoms worsen or are not controlled during the use of this medication, immediate medical consultation is required. An allergic reaction may occur; symptoms such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips or face, hives, and skin rashes require immediate discontinuation of the medication and a change to other therapies. This medication can cause serious side effects, known as paradoxical bronchospasm; if breathing difficulty suddenly worsens, usage should stop immediately, and medical consultation should be sought. Patients with allergies to any of the components of this medication or hereditary lactose intolerance should not use it. Caution is advised for patients with specific conditions such as heart disease, seizures, thyroid problems, hypokalemia, diabetes, glaucoma, and kidney diseases, and consultation with a physician is required. Various side effects such as headache, urinary tract infections, dry mouth, cough, rashes, muscle pain, may occur; report any unusual symptoms. This medication can affect heart rate and blood pressure, so patients with cardiovascular diseases should exercise caution and regularly check potassium levels and blood glucose. After inhalation, rinse the mouth with water and do not swallow the rinsed water, and make sure to use the capsule correctly with the inhaler without swallowing it. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use, as the effects on the fetus or infant have not been sufficiently studied. There may be drug interactions, so inform healthcare providers if other medications are being taken, especially avoiding use with heart-related medications or beta-blockers. In case of overdose, symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, trembling, headache, and vomiting may occur; seek medical attention immediately and follow the doctor's instructions for treatment. This medication must use the attached inhaler and should not be swallowed directly; store it in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored at a cool temperature below 25 degrees Celsius, taking care to avoid exposure to light and moisture. It is important to store it in a tightly sealed container to prevent air exposure.
