This medication is used for patients who require the simultaneous administration of valsartan and rosuvastatin. Valsartan helps reduce essential hypertension, heart failure (especially in patients intolerant to ACE inhibitors), and the risk of death after myocardial infarction. Rosuvastatin is used to control hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia, slowing the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases and stroke and myocardial infarction. Together, these two medications effectively manage hypertension and cardiovascular risk, improving the overall cardiovascular health of patients.
