This medication is used for relief of symptoms caused by seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis. It is also effective in alleviating symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria. It helps with symptom relief when used in conjunction with topical hydrocortisone for dermatitis and eczema accompanied by itching. It is used to relieve symptoms of various allergic and skin conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: take 1 tablet (5 mg of levocetirizine hydrochloride) once daily by mouth, regardless of meals. Adjust the dosage according to age and symptoms. Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with allergies to specific components or hypersensitivity to hydroxylamine or piperazine derivatives. Patients with end-stage renal disease or those undergoing hemodialysis should not take this medication.
