This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. It is also used as an adjunctive treatment for partial seizures in patients with epilepsy, with or without secondary generalization, and aids in alleviating the symptoms of fibromyalgia. In other words, this drug is effectively used for the management of pain and seizures associated with various neurological disorders.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

This medication is to be taken orally, divided into two doses per day, regardless of food intake. 1. Neuropathic Pain - Peripheral and central neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg daily, can increase to 300 mg daily after 3 days to 1 week based on response, with a maximum of 600 mg. 2. Epilepsy: Starting dose of 150 mg daily, can increase to 300 mg daily based on response after 1 week.

Children's dosage

Precautions
