In cases of severe and respiratory infections, the dose may be increased to 500 mg/125 mg once. Precautions

This medicine is a beta-lactam antibiotic and should not be administered to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs. Patients with concomitant viral infections such as infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia may have an increased risk of rash, so caution is needed. Patients who have had liver dysfunction or jaundice due to this medication or penicillin in the past should avoid its use due to the possibility of recurrence. Patients with poor liver function or severe kidney impairment may have elevated drug concentrations, so dosing intervals should be adjusted or used with caution. Those with allergic tendencies or family histories, and patients who have difficulty swallowing, elderly patients, or patients in poor overall condition are at risk of bleeding due to vitamin K deficiency, so caution is warranted. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases accompanied by vomiting or diarrhea may not absorb the medication properly, so careful administration is required. This medication can cause gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as diarrhea, dyspepsia, and vomiting, and in severe cases, pseudomembranous colitis or acute pancreatitis can occur. If symptoms develop, consult a physician immediately. Liver function abnormalities may also occur, which are reported more frequently in elderly patients over 60 years of age and males, so regular liver function tests should be conducted. Severe skin rashes and hypersensitivity reactions like anaphylaxis can occur infrequently; if symptoms such as skin rash, itching, or breathing difficulties occur, administration should be stopped immediately and healthcare personnel notified. Blood tests may rarely show abnormalities such as leukopenia or thrombocytopenia, so regular blood testing is necessary during long-term use. Central nervous system symptoms like anxiety, confusion, and seizures can rarely occur, so if any symptoms arise, a physician's evaluation is needed. Patients with impaired kidney function are at risk for acute renal failure or interstitial nephritis, so kidney function should be monitored regularly, and if abnormalities occur, administration should be discontinued. The use of antibiotics can alter the normal intestinal flora, potentially leading to oral candidiasis or candidiasis infections; consult a physician if symptoms arise. Vitamin K deficiency can lead to bleeding tendencies and vitamin B complex deficiencies may rarely occur, so nutritional status should be assessed with long-term use. This medication should be administered only for the necessary minimum duration after sensitivity testing to prevent resistance development. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin drugs may experience severe allergic reactions, so they must inform the healthcare personnel before administration. There is a risk of anaphylaxis, so the patient's condition should be closely monitored for a period after administration. Long-term or excessive use may show gastrointestinal symptoms, bleeding, and hypersensitivity reactions; if symptoms arise, stop administration immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Administration should be avoided during the first three months of pregnancy, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication cautiously since it may affect the fetus or infant. This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years of age or those weighing less than 40 kg, and elderly patients may present more pronounced adverse reactions due to decreased physiological function, so dosages and intervals should be adjusted accordingly. This medication may interact with other medications, so if the patient is taking any other medications, it is crucial to inform the healthcare personnel. Store at or below 25 degrees in a dry place, and if any abnormal symptoms occur during use, consult a physician immediately.
