If any rash or allergic reaction occurs while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. One of the ingredients in this medication may increase the risk of seizures, so caution should be exercised by individuals with a history of seizures or those at high risk for seizures. Particularly, the risk of seizures may be further increased when taken with other specific antidepressants or analgesics, so consultation with a physician is required for combined use. This medication can rarely cause serious allergic reactions, so if symptoms such as difficulty breathing or hives occur, seek immediate medical attention. In patients with severe respiratory diseases, this medication can cause life-threatening respiratory depression, and should be administered in a facility equipped with professional equipment. It is advisable not to use this medication in conjunction with central nervous system depressants such as alcohol or sedatives, and if unavoidable, it should be done with extreme caution. Patients with head injuries or brain diseases should be cautious while using this medication, as it may pose a risk of increased intracranial pressure. This medication may cause physical and mental dependence, so it should be taken according to a doctor's instructions during prolonged use; abrupt discontinuation may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Patients with impaired liver function should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and should not exceed the recommended dosage due to the risk of liver damage. Individuals with certain genetic markers may metabolize this medication rapidly, increasing the risk of respiratory depression, thus requiring dosage adjustment or alternative medications in such cases. This medication should not be used in children under 12 years old or adolescents under 18 who have undergone tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy. This medication may exacerbate sleep apnea or hypoxia, so continuous monitoring for these symptoms is necessary during use. Elderly patients or those at risk of hyponatremia should closely monitor for symptoms of hyponatremia while taking this medication. This medication may interact with specific drugs, so inform a doctor or pharmacist about any other medications being taken. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and nursing mothers should either discontinue breastfeeding or monitor closely while on this medication. This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness, requiring caution when driving or operating machinery.
