This medication is used in adults for the treatment of peripheral and central neuropathic pain. It is also used as an adjunct in the treatment of partial seizures in epilepsy patients, whether or not they have secondary generalized symptoms. Additionally, it helps alleviate symptoms of fibromyalgia. It is effective for treating significant pain related to the nervous system, seizures, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Pregabalin should be taken orally, divided into two doses per day, regardless of food. 1. Neuropathic pain - Peripheral neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg per day, may be increased to 300 mg per day after 3 to 7 days, and if necessary, may increase to a maximum of 600 mg per day at 7-day intervals. - Central neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg per day, may be increased to 300 mg per day after one week, and further adjusted to the target daily dose of 600 mg after one more week.
