Relief of cold symptoms (acute rhinitis), allergic rhinitis (nasal congestion, runny nose)
This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and a heavy head caused by acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
For those aged 15 and older, the dose is 1 tablet taken three times a day after meals. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours.
This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Additionally, individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components should not take it. Breastfeeding women should either avoid this medication or stop breastfeeding. Furthermore, this medication should not be used by individuals taking specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications known as MAO inhibitors, or if they have stopped such medication within the last 2 weeks. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders should not take it. While taking this medication, it is advised not to take other oral medications for rhinitis, antihistamines, or medications that contain diphenhydramine together. Children aged 3 months to under 2 years should be administered only after consulting a physician; unless in special cases, it is safer to avoid use. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to medications manifesting as a rash, itching, or asthma should definitely consult with a professional. Individuals with heart, liver, eye, or blood-related disorders, or those who are physically weak, or have a high fever should consult with a professional before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult with a healthcare provider before taking this medication. Elderly individuals or those receiving other treatments should also consult with a professional before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as vomiting, severe thirst, constipation, rash, itching, or difficulty urinating appear after taking this medication, immediately stop taking it and consult with a healthcare provider. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, discontinue use and consult with a professional. It is important to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency of this medication, and it is safer not to use it for extended periods. Drowsiness may occur while using this medication, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided, as well as the consumption of alcohol. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
