Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with certain drugs or conditions. For example, it can be risky for patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients, or have certain heart diseases, liver disorders, or renal impairments. Additionally, pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this medication, and it should be avoided in patients with central nervous system infections. When taking with other medications, interactions may occur, so it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. Caution should be exercised when prescribing this medication to patients with impaired liver or kidney function, elderly patients, or those with heart diseases. There is a risk of resistant bacteria developing when used together with other antibiotics, so administering it for the appropriate duration based on susceptibility tests is crucial. During treatment, allergic reactions or serious side effects may occur, so if any symptoms arise, the administration should be immediately stopped and healthcare professionals should be notified. Especially severe skin rashes, respiratory distress, fever, abdominal pain, and diarrhea require immediate attention. This medication may interact with various other drugs, so if you are taking any other medications, you must inform your healthcare provider. Some medications may need to be avoided or used with caution when combined, such as certain heart disease treatments, statin drugs, some antifungals, and antivirals, which could increase the risk of side effects. In principle, pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use this medication, and if unavoidable, breastfeeding should be stopped. For children, age restrictions apply, so expert guidance must be followed. Elderly patients may require dose adjustments due to potentially high drug concentrations from decreased kidney function. This medication can also affect liver and kidney functions, so regular check-ups are necessary. In cases of overdose, gastrointestinal disturbances or central nervous system abnormalities may occur, requiring immediate medical intervention. Finally, this medication is sensitive to light and moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and kept in a dry place.
