Efficacy & effects

Maintenance therapy effect for ovarian cancer (tubal cancer, peritoneal cancer)

View approved original text

This medication is effectively used for ovarian cancer, tubal cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer. It is particularly applied as a monotherapy for maintenance in adult patients who have shown a partial or complete response to first-line platinum-based chemotherapy. Additionally, it is used as a monotherapy for maintenance in patients with platinum-sensitive recurrent high-grade serous ovarian cancer who have responded to second-line or subsequent platinum-based chemotherapy. This treatment helps to prevent cancer recurrence and maintain therapeutic efficacy. It plays an important role in stabilizing treatment outcomes for patients. Therefore, it is used as maintenance therapy for these cancer types associated with ovarian cancer.
