This medication is used to treat various bacterial infections. It is effective for respiratory infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media, and is also used for urinary tract infections such as cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis. It helps with sexually transmitted infections including pelvic infections and gonorrhea and is suitable for treating skin and soft tissue infections such as boils, abscesses, cellulitis, and wound infections. This drug can also be used for the treatment of osteomyelitis and dental infections. It is widely used to improve a variety of infectious diseases.

How to take

Precautions

This medication is a beta-lactam antibiotic and should not be administered to patients with allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs. It is important to administer this drug only for the necessary duration to prevent the development of resistant bacteria, and liver and kidney function as well as blood conditions should be regularly monitored during treatment. If there is a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin group drugs, anaphylactic shock may occur; therefore, the patient should be observed closely after administration. As this drug may interact with other medications, it is essential to inform the doctor or pharmacist about any medications currently being taken, especially when combined with anticoagulants or certain antibiotics. Women in early pregnancy or nursing should carefully consider the risks and benefits when administering this medication, and diarrhea or skin rash may appear in the baby during breastfeeding. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age or weighing less than 40 kg.
