This medication is used for seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and skin itching. It can also enhance the effect of hydrocortisone topical agents when used in conjunction with the treatment of eczema and dermatitis. It helps improve various allergic and skin disorders.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 6 years should take 10mg of cetirizine hydrochloride once daily before bedtime. For patients sensitive to side effects, it may be administered in divided doses of 5mg in the morning and evening.
