It helps alleviate various symptoms of rhinitis and sinusitis.

How to use

Allergic rhinitis: Generally, spray 2 doses in each nostril once daily (total daily dose of 0.2 mg). If symptoms improve, the maintenance dose may be reduced to 1 spray per nostril (total daily dose of 0.1 mg). If symptoms do not improve, the dose may be increased up to 4 sprays per nostril once daily (total daily dose of 0.4 mg), and should be reduced when symptoms improve.

Precautions

This medication is a corticosteroid used intranasally to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis or rhinitis. It should not be used in certain patients, such as those who are allergic to this medication or its components, or have an untreated infection of the nasal mucosa. Patients who have recently undergone nasal surgery or have wounds in the nasal area should refrain from using this medication until the wound is fully healed. Safety and effectiveness have not been established for infants under 2 years old, so it should not be used. Precautions are necessary when using this medication in certain patients: those with active or latent tuberculosis, untreated systemic infections, or herpes simplex in the eyes should be treated carefully. Patients who have frequent nosebleeds should be cautious, as bleeding may worsen. Patients at risk for infection from chickenpox or measles should be vigilant regarding infection control while using this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should consult a doctor before taking this medication. Side effects may include headaches, viral infections, pharyngitis, nosebleeds, cough, upper respiratory infections, and more. Rarely, side effects such as nasal mucosal irritation, rashes, liver function abnormalities, blood abnormalities, and blurred vision have also been reported. Immediate hypersensitivity reactions or anaphylaxis may occur after intranasal administration; if any abnormal symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and seek medical assistance. Long-term use at high doses may lead to systemic corticosteroid effects and should be approached with caution. If a localized fungal infection occurs in the nasal cavity or throat during treatment, discontinuation of the medication or appropriate treatment may be necessary. In children, regular monitoring of growth is necessary as there may be a risk of decreased growth rate, and the minimal effective dose should be used. If a pregnant woman uses this medication, it should be used cautiously considering the potential risks to the fetus and infant, and nursing mothers should also consult a doctor before use. This medication can interact with other drugs; caution is advised, especially in combination with CYP3A4 inhibitors, as systemic side effects may increase. Before use, shake the container well, and if it has not been used for an extended period, check for uniform spraying by performing a test spray. This medication is for intranasal use only; avoid spraying directly into the eyes or septum. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, special treatment is generally not necessary, but be cautious as systemic corticosteroid effects may occur. Finally, it's important to have regular medical check-ups while using this medication long-term to monitor nasal mucosal status and potential systemic side effects.
