This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults, and is used as an adjunctive treatment for partial seizures in epilepsy patients. How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken orally, split into two doses regardless of food intake. 1. Neuropathic Pain - Peripheral Neuropathic Pain: Starting dose is 150 mg once daily, which can be increased to 300 mg within 3 to 7 days, and if needed, further increased to a maximum of 600 mg at 7-day intervals. - Central Neuropathic Pain: Starting dose is 150 mg once daily, to be increased to 300 mg once daily after 1 week.

Child dose

Use is not recommended for children under 12 years of age and adolescents aged 12-17 due to insufficient safety and efficacy data.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, so if you experience any unusual changes in mood or behavior while taking it, you should consult your doctor immediately.
