How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older) should take 2 capsules at a time, three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medicine can put stress on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Additionally, the acetaminophen component in this medicine can cause liver damage in cases of overdose, so it is important not to exceed a maximum of 4,000mg per day and to avoid taking it with other products that contain acetaminophen. If any unusual reactions such as rash, itching, or blisters appear on the skin during the use of this medicine, the use should be stopped immediately and consultation with a medical professional should be sought. Particularly because it contains pseudoephedrine, if fever, redness, or small blisters occur, the use of the medicine should be stopped and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. People who are hypersensitive to this medicine, have a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or individuals with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medicine. During treatment, it is advisable not to take cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines that are included in oral medications together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic constitutions or chronic illnesses such as liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid conditions should consult a medical professional before taking this medicine. If serious symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, rash, dizziness, chest tightness, or difficulty breathing occur during use, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a medical professional. It is particularly advised that children under 2 years old do not use this medicine, and if necessary, seek medical attention. The medicine must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and regimen, and long-term use should be avoided. Alcohol should be avoided during treatment. Additionally, drowsiness may occur, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided, and caution should be observed when taking with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice, as muscle weakness or increased blood pressure may occur as side effects. Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema, difficulty urinating, persistent or severe thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medicine together with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's drugs), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines that are found in oral medications (such as oral remedies for rhinitis, anti-nausea medications, or allergy medications). Do not use within 2 weeks of stopping MAO inhibitors. Additionally, it may interact with medications for diabetes, gout, arthritis.

Food interactions

This medicine may interact with alcohol, potassium-containing preparations, glycyrrhizin or its salts.
