This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. It is also used as an adjunct for partial seizures in patients with epilepsy, with or without secondary generalized symptoms. Additionally, it helps alleviate symptoms of fibromyalgia. It is effectively used for various neurological disorders and pain symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken orally without regard to food, dividing the total daily dose into two doses per day. 1. Neuropathic pain 1) Peripheral neuropathic pain The starting dose is 150 mg per day, which can be increased to 300 mg per day after 3 to 7 days. If necessary, it can be further increased to a maximum of 600 mg per day at intervals of 7 days. 2) Central neuropathic pain The starting dose is 150 mg per day.

Child dose

Precautions

This medicine may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, so any mood changes or symptoms of depression during treatment should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately.
