How to take

Adult dose

This medication is pregabalin and is orally administered in divided doses of the total daily dosage twice a day without regard to food. 1. Neuropathic pain 1) Peripheral neuropathic pain Starting dose of 150 mg per day, which can be increased to 300 mg per day after 3 to 7 days, and if necessary, further increased to a maximum of 600 mg per day at 7-day intervals. 2) Central neuropathic pain Starting dose of 150 mg per day.

Precautions

This drug may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior; therefore, patients should consult a physician immediately if they experience depression or mood changes during treatment. Diabetes patients should be cautious as this medication may cause weight gain and requires careful blood sugar control.
