Improvement of gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, etc.)
This medicine is used to treat diseases such as ulcers occurring in the stomach and duodenum, gastroesophageal reflux disease, recurrent ulcers, anastomotic ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It also helps improve gastric mucosal lesions such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and edema that occur during acute exacerbations of acute gastritis and chronic gastritis. In other words, this medicine effectively protects the gastric mucosa, restores damaged areas, and maintains the health of the digestive tract. It is a medication that greatly aids in alleviating symptoms of various gastric-related diseases and preventing recurrence.
Adults: Take 400 mg of cimetidine orally twice a day (morning and at bedtime) or 800 mg once a day (at bedtime). Also, 300 mg can be taken orally four times a day (after meals and at bedtime). The dose can be increased up to 1.6 g (400 mg four times a day after meals and at bedtime). For improvement of gastric mucosal lesions during acute exacerbations of acute gastritis and chronic gastritis, administer 200 mg twice a day or 400 mg once a day.
Children: Administer divided doses of 20 to 40 mg per kg of body weight per day.
This medicine should be used very carefully when using glass ampoule injections, as glass fragments may be included, especially in children or the elderly. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medicine or allergies to its components, patients at risk of certain cardiac arrhythmias, and those with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not take this medicine. Patients with poor kidney or liver function, those with a history of drug allergies, the elderly, children under 19 years of age, and those undergoing dialysis should take this medicine with caution, as symptoms of stomach cancer may be masked. This medicine may cause various side effects in blood, liver, kidney, skin, and mental nervous systems; therefore, if any unusual symptoms appear, you should consult a doctor immediately. During treatment, it is good to observe the progression of the disease closely, and if there is no effect, it is advisable to switch to other treatment methods; regular liver and kidney function tests should also be conducted. There are many drug interactions, and the effect of some medications may change; therefore, if you are taking other medications, be sure to notify your doctor or pharmacist. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and breastfeeding women should be cautious when taking this medicine, and it is advisable to stop nursing while taking it. Safety has not been sufficiently confirmed in children, so it should only be used if necessary, and the elderly may need dosage adjustments due to impaired kidney function. In case of overdose, serious side effects such as respiratory depression may occur, and immediate emergency measures should be taken. When using it as an injection, avoid rapid intravenous injection and administer it slowly to reduce cardiac side effects. This medicine should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers for safety.

Hematologic abnormalities (leukopenia, granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia, aplastic anemia, immune hemolytic anemia), liver dysfunction (increased AST, ALT, hepatitis), kidney abnormalities (interstitial nephritis, acute renal failure, interstitial nephritis, urinary retention, elevated BUN, elevated serum creatinine), gynecomastia, excessive milk secretion, increased leucorrhea, erectile dysfunction, abdominal bloating, constipation, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, limbs
