Child dose
For children under 12 years of age and adolescents aged 12-17, safety and efficacy data are insufficient, and administration is not recommended.

This medication is used for the treatment of peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. It is also effective as an adjunctive treatment for partial seizures in epilepsy patients, whether they have secondary generalized symptoms or not. Additionally, it is utilized for alleviating fibromyalgia, thereby helping improve symptoms associated with neuropathic pain, seizures, and myalgia.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken orally, divided into two doses per day, without regard to food. 1. Neuropathic pain - Peripheral neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg per day, increased to 300 mg per day within 3 to 7 days. It may be increased further up to a maximum of 600 mg at 7-day intervals if needed. - Central neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg per day, increased to 300 mg after 1 week.

Child dose

For children under 12 years of age and adolescents aged 12-17, safety and efficacy data are insufficient, and administration is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication, as an antiepileptic drug, may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviors, so if symptoms of depression or mood changes appear during treatment, consult with a healthcare professional immediately.
