This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. It is also used as an adjunct in patients with epilepsy experiencing partial seizures, particularly when these are accompanied by secondary generalization or not. It is helpful in alleviating pain in fibromyalgia patients. This medication is effective for various neurological diseases and pain conditions, and it is used to improve the patient's symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication, as pregabalin, is usually taken orally, divided into two doses per day, regardless of food. 1. Neuropathic pain 1) Peripheral neuropathic pain - The starting dose may be 150 mg per day. - After 3 to 7 days, the dose may be increased to 300 mg per day. - If needed, it may be increased to a maximum of 600 mg per day at intervals of 7 days. 2) Central neuropathic pain

Child dose

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, so careful monitoring for signs of depression, mood changes, or unusual behavior is necessary during use. Do not take this medication if you have hypersensitivity to any of its components or if you have certain genetic lactose metabolism disorders.
