Acute bronchitis is a condition characterized by acute inflammation of the bronchi, which is typically accompanied by symptoms such as coughing, sputum, and chest pain. This medication is used to relieve inflammation and cough associated with acute bronchitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 tablet three times a day with a small amount of water.

Precautions

It is advisable not to use this medication in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients on medications that make bleeding easier or interfere with blood clotting should not take this. Patients with severe impairment of liver or kidney function should not use this medication. Individuals with an allergic reaction to any of the components of this medication should avoid taking it. Patients with genetically determined galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not use this medication. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. This medication contains lactose, so it may not be suitable for patients who cannot break down lactose due to certain genetic issues. While taking this medication, caution should be exercised as gastrointestinal discomfort such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Occasionally, gums may bleed or nosebleeds may occur, and allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching may also appear. Very rarely, severe allergic reactions causing facial swelling or difficulty breathing may occur, so if abnormal symptoms occur, it is essential to visit a hospital immediately. Signs of liver dysfunction may appear, so if jaundice, changes in urine color, or abdominal pain occur, the medication should be discontinued and medical advice sought. If symptoms like fever, shortness of breath, or blood-stained sputum persist during treatment, the medication should be stopped immediately and expert medical care should be sought. It is not advisable to take this medication lying down, and care should be taken when taking alongside other medications, especially those that affect blood clotting. In the case of overdose, side effects may worsen, so consultation with a doctor is mandatory. Store this medication in a safe place out of reach of children and avoid transferring the medication to another container. The effects of this medication on driving or machine operation are not known, so caution is advised while taking it.
