Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia, and a precise diagnosis and evaluation by a physician is necessary before use. Patients with heart disease or high cardiovascular risk must check their heart condition before taking this medication. If symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, or dizziness occur during or after sexual activity, sexual activity should be immediately stopped, and medical attention should be sought. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, immediate medical assistance should be provided, as leaving it untreated may result in penile tissue damage or permanent erectile dysfunction. This medication may cause excessive lowering of blood pressure if taken with nitrate medications or NO donors. Therefore, inform your doctor if you are taking such medications. Patients who have recently experienced serious cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, stroke, or unstable angina cannot take this medication. Patients with hereditary retinal diseases or certain ophthalmic conditions should avoid taking this medication, and it should not be administered to those with hypersensitivity. It is not recommended to combine this medication with other erectile dysfunction treatments due to unverified safety and efficacy. Patients with severe kidney or liver function impairment need to use this medication with caution, and if taking alpha-blockers or antihypertensives, consult a doctor as blood pressure lowering may intensify. This medication may have side effects such as headache, dyspepsia, back pain, myalgia, flushing, and others, most of which are mild or temporary. Rarely reported adverse reactions include vision impairment, hearing loss, priapism, and cardiovascular adverse effects; any unusual symptoms should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately. It should not be used in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or in children and adolescents. While it does not significantly affect driving or machine operation, caution should be exercised as dizziness or drowsiness may occur. In case of overdose, immediate medical attention should be sought, as blood dialysis does not significantly impact the elimination of this medication. Store the medication out of reach of children and preferably in its original packaging.
