Adult dosage
Take 400 mg orally twice a day (in the morning and at bedtime) or 800 mg once a day (at bedtime). Also, 300 mg can be taken orally four times a day (after meals and at bedtime). The dosage may be increased to 400 mg four times a day (after meals and at bedtime) (total of 1.6 g). For acute gastritis and acute exacerbations of chronic gastritis, administer 200 mg twice a day or 400 mg once a day. For patients with renal dysfunction, 300 mg may be given orally twice a day, every 12 hours. Depending on the patient's symptoms, the frequency may be increased to three times a day, every 8 hours or more, but caution is advised. In severe cases of renal dysfunction, the drug may accumulate in the body, so the frequency should be minimized according to the patient's reaction. Hemodialysis lowers blood levels of cimetidine. After hemodialysis, resume the scheduled administration of the medication.
Children's dosage
Administer orally in divided doses of 20 to 40 mg per kg of body weight per day.

This medication is effective for gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, recurrent ulcers, anastomotic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is also used to improve gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness, swelling) caused by acute gastritis and acute exacerbations of chronic gastritis. In simple terms, this medicine treats wounds or inflammation in the stomach and duodenum and improves damage to the gastric mucosa, thus enhancing digestive health. Therefore, it helps relieve symptoms of these gastrointestinal diseases and aids in the recovery of lesions.

Dosage and Administration
