This drug can cause severe harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should not take this medication. Patients with severe liver impairment, severe renal impairment, hereditary angioedema, and certain other conditions should not take this medication. Special caution is needed for elderly patients, patients with hyperkalemia, and patients with mild to moderate liver dysfunction, and dosage may need adjustment. This medication can have a strong blood pressure-lowering effect, which may cause dizziness or fainting due to severe hypotension when taken for the first time, so caution is required. Particularly for patients taking diuretics or those who are depleted of fluids or sodium, the risk of hypotension is high, so their condition should be closely monitored at the beginning of treatment. When taken in conjunction with potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements, potassium levels in the blood can rise dangerously, so caution is needed. Co-administration with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may reduce the hypotensive effect or worsen renal function, so renal function should be regularly monitored when taken together. When taken with lithium preparations, lithium levels may increase and toxicity can occur, so blood lithium levels should be regularly checked. This medication can affect liver or kidney function, so it is important to regularly conduct blood tests to check renal function and electrolyte status. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. While taking this medication, side effects such as headache, dizziness, fatigue, cough, and diarrhea may occur, and in severe cases, a doctor should be consulted immediately. Safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been established, so use is not recommended. Overdose can lead to severe hypotension and decreased consciousness, requiring immediate emergency treatment. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and transferring it to another container should be avoided, as it may cause quality deterioration or accidents.
