This medicine is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults and serves as an adjunct for the treatment of partial seizures in epilepsy patients, either with or without secondary generalized symptoms. How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken orally, divided into two doses daily, regardless of food intake. 1. Neuropathic Pain - Peripheral Neuropathic Pain: Start with a dose of 150 mg daily, with an increase to 300 mg daily possible after 3 to 7 days, and further increases to a maximum of 600 mg daily can be made at 7-day intervals as needed. - Central Neuropathic Pain: Start with a dose of 150 mg daily, with an increase to 300 mg daily after one week.

Precautions
