Child dose
The safety and efficacy data are insufficient for children under 12 years of age and adolescents aged 12-17 years, so use is not recommended.

This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. It can also be utilized as an adjunct to alleviate symptoms in patients with partial seizures of epilepsy. Moreover, it is effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia. Overall, it helps with neuralgia, certain seizures in epilepsy, as well as chronic muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication, Pregabalin, is administered orally divided into two doses a day, irrespective of food. 1. Neuropathic Pain (1) Peripheral Neuropathic Pain: The initial dose is 150 mg per day, which can be increased to 300 mg per day within 3 to 7 days, and if necessary, can be increased to a maximum of 600 mg at 7-day intervals. (2) Central Neuropathic Pain: The initial dose is 150 mg per day.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy data are insufficient for children under 12 years of age and adolescents aged 12-17 years, so use is not recommended.

Precautions
