Duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, moderate to severe reflux esophagitis Administer 1 vial of this medicine (equivalent to 40 mg of pantoprazole) intravenously once daily. 2. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions - Start with an initial dose of 80 mg per day, then increase or decrease the dose according to measurements of gastric acid secretion. - For doses of 80 mg or more, administer in 2 divided doses per day. - The dose may be temporarily increased to 160 mg or more, but only to the extent needed to achieve adequate acid control. - If rapid acid control is needed, an initial dose of 2 × 80 mg reduced acid output to the target range (< 10 mEq/h) within one hour in most patients. Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. Patients who are hypersensitive to this drug or its components, or who have experienced such reactions in the past, should not use this drug. Furthermore, patients currently taking Atazanavir, Nelfinavir, or Rilpivirine should not use this drug. When using this drug, various adverse reactions may occur. For example, blood-related issues, gastrointestinal symptoms, respiratory symptoms, injection site reactions, liver function abnormalities, immune system reactions, neurological symptoms, and skin reactions have been reported. Care is required as there may be severe skin conditions or hypersensitivity reactions such as anaphylactic shock. This drug may alleviate malignant tumor symptoms or delay diagnosis; therefore, if symptoms suspected of malignancy coexist with gastric ulcers, it must be confirmed that they are not malignant. Regular monitoring is needed during long-term use, and dosage should be reduced in patients with severe liver dysfunction. As a proton pump inhibitor, long-term use may increase the risk of fractures and cause electrolyte abnormalities such as hypomagnesemia. In such cases, magnesium supplementation or drug discontinuation may be necessary, and blood magnesium levels should be monitored regularly. Additionally, this drug inhibits gastric acid secretion, which can increase the risk of bacterial infections in the intestine; therefore, if diarrhea persists, medical consultation is necessary. Dizziness or visual disturbances may occur, necessitating caution when driving or operating machinery. There is a risk of toxicity when used in combination with drugs such as Methotrexate, so healthcare providers must be informed. It is advisable to avoid use in the first three months of pregnancy, and nursing women should also avoid this drug. Experience in using this drug in children and adolescents under 18 years is limited, so it is not recommended. No specific safety differences have been reported in the elderly, but it should be used with caution. No specific symptoms of overdose are known, but if symptoms occur, immediate medical attention is required and symptomatic treatment may be necessary. This medication must be dissolved in saline injection solution or glucose solution before administration, and the prepared solution should be used within 12 hours. Care should be taken to store the solution below 25°C, and products that are discolored or cloudy should be discarded. Lastly, caution is advised for long-term use as animal experiments have shown associations with specific tumor occurrences.
