Precautions

This medicine should not be administered to patients who have had allergic reactions to specific components as it is a penicillin antibiotic. Special caution is needed for patients with hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporins. Since it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic issues should not take it. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases such as active colitis or enteritis, those with allergic tendencies or a history of bronchial asthma should use it with caution. Patients with significantly impaired kidney function may need to adjust administration intervals due to increased drug concentration. Elderly patients or those in poor general condition should be closely monitored for bleeding tendencies. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain may occur when taking this medicine; if symptoms are severe, immediate consultation with a healthcare provider is advised. Additionally, allergic reactions such as hives, rash, and anaphylaxis may occur, so if any allergic symptoms develop, the medication must be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Abnormal findings related to kidney or liver function and blood abnormalities have also been reported, thus regular monitoring and examinations are necessary. Prolonged use of this medicine may lead to overgrowth of fungi or resistant bacteria, warranting attention to dysbiosis. During pregnancy, while the risk to the fetus is low, it should only be administered if the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks; caution is also warranted during breastfeeding as it can affect infants. Pediatric patients, especially infants under one year of age, may have immature renal function leading to slower drug excretion, requiring careful administration. Elderly patients may show more adverse reactions due to decreased physiological function, so dosage and administration intervals should be adjusted while monitoring their condition. There may be interactions with other medications, so it is crucial to inform healthcare providers of any other medications being taken. In cases of overdose, neurological symptoms or renal failure may appear, and immediate medical attention is necessary. While taking this medicine, patients should carefully monitor for allergic reactions or severe side effects; if any abnormal symptoms occur, immediate consultation with healthcare providers is necessary.
