Precautions

This medicine should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergy to penicillins or other beta-lactam antibiotics. Patients with a predisposition to allergies, such as bronchial asthma or skin reactions like rashes and urticaria, should also be cautious. Patients with severely impaired renal function should be monitored closely before administration. Patients who have difficulty swallowing, elderly patients, or those in poor general health should be observed carefully as symptoms of vitamin K deficiency may occur. Using this medication may lead to mild skin rashes or serious cutaneous reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome, so symptoms should be monitored closely. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as headaches, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, and abdominal pain may commonly occur, and if symptoms are severe, you should consult a doctor. Blood tests may show abnormalities such as thrombocytopenia or leukopenia, so it is advisable to have regular check-ups. Liver dysfunction or hepatitis and renal function decline may occur, so symptoms or test results should be monitored closely. During antibiotic use, fungi such as Candida may proliferate excessively; treatment should be discontinued if abnormal symptoms appear. If diarrhea or abdominal pain persists following antibiotic use, membrane colitis should be suspected, and medical personnel should be informed immediately. This drug may cause dizziness; caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. When used with other medications, this may affect renal function, so it should be used in consultation with medical personnel. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should carefully consider the risks and benefits of using this medication. For infants under three months old, safety has not been established, so use should be avoided. Elderly patients may have diminished physiological function, making them more susceptible to adverse reactions, and dosages and intervals should be adjusted accordingly. In cases of overdose, seizures may occur, so it is important to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage. Medicines should be stored out of reach of children and kept in their original containers to maintain safety and efficacy.
