Precautions

This medication should be limited to doses below the recommended daily intake by WHO, and particularly contains aspartame, which is metabolized into phenylalanine, thus should not be administered to patients with phenylketonuria. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or beta-lactam antibiotics, patients with infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia, a history of liver dysfunction, and lactose intolerant patients should not use this medication. Patients with reduced liver or kidney function, those with allergies, elderly patients, and patients with gastrointestinal diseases should use this medication cautiously, as gastrointestinal disturbances, liver function abnormalities, allergic reactions, hematological abnormalities, and neurological symptoms may occur during treatment and should be monitored closely. Severe allergic reactions or anaphylactic shock may occur, thus the patient's condition should be monitored closely after administration, and emergency treatment may be needed. Furthermore, this medication may affect the intestinal microbiota, potentially leading to severe gastrointestinal diseases such as diarrhea or pseudomembranous colitis; if symptoms appear, usage should be stopped immediately and a doctor consulted. This medication can interact with other drugs, requiring caution when used concurrently, especially with anticoagulants, certain antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory drugs, and should be used according to a physician's instructions. The use of this medication in pregnant or breastfeeding women is restricted, as it should ideally be avoided in early pregnancy, and there may be side effects for infants while breastfeeding. Safety for children, particularly newborns or premature infants under 2 months, has not been established, thus use should be avoided in these cases. Elderly patients may have a higher chance of adverse reactions due to decreased physiological functions, hence dosage and intervals should be adjusted, and careful observation is needed. Overdose may result in gastrointestinal symptoms and central nervous system symptoms; usage should be stopped immediately and appropriate emergency treatment obtained. After use, it should be stored in the refrigerator and completed within 7 days, avoiding direct sunlight and storing in a dry place.
