This medication helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and watery eyes caused by colds, allergic rhinitis, and vasomotor rhinitis. It also temporarily alleviates nasal congestion caused by sinusitis. Therefore, it is used to improve various symptoms related to the nose.
Dosage and Administration
Children aged 12 years and older and adults: Take 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours, and follow doctor's instructions.
Precautions
This medication contains an amine-based sympathomimetic and an antihistamine, so individuals allergic to the ingredients of this medication should not take it. Those with special constitutions or nursing women should also avoid using this medication. Patients with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease, or those taking the MAO inhibitor type of antidepressants should also avoid this medication. Patients experiencing difficulty breathing due to conditions such as glaucoma, urinary retention issues, peptic ulcers, asthma, and lung diseases should also refrain from using this medication. Those taking sedatives or tranquilizers should preferably avoid using this medication together. In cases of specific diseases such as chronic bronchitis, heart disease, hypertension, thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, glaucoma, and prostate enlargement, it should be taken cautiously under a doctor's direction. This medication may cause side effects such as anxiety, tension, trembling, fatigue, pallor, difficulty breathing, urinary difficulty, insomnia, hallucinations, convulsions, heart arrhythmia, dizziness, and hypotension. Individuals sensitive to phenylephrine may experience symptoms such as rapid heart rate, headache, dizziness, and nausea; however, it is safe if the proper dosage is adhered to. If allergic to antihistamine components, drowsiness or dry mouth, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, nervous irritability, frequent urination, double vision, urinary difficulty, and, rarely, dermatitis may occur. This medication can cause drowsiness, so caution is needed when taken with alcohol or sedatives and tranquilizers, as drowsiness may increase. In children, excitatory responses may occur, so caution is required. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or if there is a high fever, a doctor should be consulted. During usage, alcoholic beverages should be avoided, and activities requiring concentration, such as driving or operating dangerous machinery, should be refrained from. It is essential not to exceed the prescribed dosage, and in cases of overdose, immediate medical attention should be sought. If symptoms such as dizziness, insomnia, or nervous irritability occur after taking the medication, it should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. This medication should be stored out of reach of children.

Interactions
Patients undergoing MAO inhibitor treatment, or those receiving sedatives or tranquilizers should not take this medication.
