Additionally, it is used to treat bacterial prostatitis, acute uncomplicated cystitis, and acute pyelonephritis, as well as gonococcal cervicitis and gonococcal urethritis. It also helps in the treatment of gastrointestinal infections, infections of the biliary tract, skin and soft tissue infections, and bone and joint infections. However, it is only used in certain diseases when there are no other therapeutic options, and care must be taken regarding side effects. How to take
