In severe respiratory infections, it can be increased to 500 mg/125 mg per dose. For those with renal impairment, dosage should be adjusted according to creatinine clearance. Precautions

This medication is a beta-lactam antibiotic and should not be used in patients with a history of allergic reactions to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs. It should especially be avoided in patients with infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia due to a high risk of rash. Caution is needed for patients with liver function problems or a history of jaundice due to a risk of recurrence. Patients with poor liver function or severe renal impairment may experience increased drug concentration, requiring adjustment of dosage and administration interval. Care should be taken for allergic individuals, elderly patients, or those with poor systemic conditions, as there may be a risk of bleeding due to vitamin K deficiency. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases or severe vomiting and diarrhea may have insufficient drug absorption. If symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, or blood in the stool occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a physician. If allergic reactions such as elevated liver enzymes, jaundice, skin rashes, or breathing difficulties occur, discontinue use and seek appropriate treatment immediately. Regular monitoring of liver and kidney function, as well as blood status, should be conducted during long-term use to check for any abnormalities. Because of possible interactions with other medications, any concurrently taken medications must be reported, particularly with anticoagulants or other antibiotics. Pregnant women in early pregnancy or nursing mothers should use with caution after consulting a physician, as observations are needed for possible adverse reactions in infants during breastfeeding. Children and the elderly require dosage adjustment and careful monitoring during administration. In case of overdose, symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, renal failure, and convulsions may occur, necessitating immediate medical treatment. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees Celsius, and should not be discontinued or dosage changed without a doctor's instruction.
