This medication may cause severe side effects such as thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, agranulocytosis, and severe liver impairment, primarily within 2 months of starting treatment, requiring special caution. Blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted every two weeks for the first three months after starting treatment, and if any abnormal symptoms occur, the medication should be stopped immediately, and medical attention should be sought. This medication poses a high risk of hematological adverse reactions and bleeding, so it should be used with caution when taken with other blood-related medications such as anticoagulants or aspirin. It should not be used in patients with bleeding risks, severe liver impairment, leukopenia or thrombocytopenia, or those allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Special caution is required for patients during menstruation, those taking anticoagulants, patients with a history of liver disease, those scheduled for surgery, patients with hypertension, and elderly patients. This medication can produce various side effects, including decreased blood cell count, bleeding, liver function abnormalities, gastrointestinal disorders, and allergic reactions, so immediate consultation with medical personnel is necessary if symptoms occur. Regular blood tests and liver function tests should be carried out to check for abnormalities during treatment, especially during the first three months, meticulous observation is essential. Since this medication is metabolized in the liver, it should be used cautiously in patients with impaired liver function, and those with compromised kidney function should also be monitored closely. Due to numerous drug interactions, the risk of bleeding may increase when taken with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antiplatelet agents, and anticoagulants, so it is crucial to consult a doctor. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid this medication, and its safety and effectiveness in children have not been established, thus its use is not recommended. In elderly patients, metabolic and hematopoietic functions may decline, increasing the risk of side effects, so initiation at a lower dose is advised, and careful monitoring of their condition is necessary. In case of overdose, the risk of bleeding may increase; therefore, it is essential to adhere strictly to dosage recommendations and to notify medical personnel immediately if any unusual symptoms occur.
