Dosage

1. Leukemia Adults administer methotrexate at 5 to 10 mg once daily for 3 to 6 days a week orally. 2. Gestational trophoblastic disease Administer 10 to 30 mg orally per day for 5 days as one cycle, followed by a 7 to 12 day rest before repeating. 3. Rheumatoid arthritis Prior to treatment, a test dose of 5 to 10 mg should be administered orally one time during the week before treatment to assess for hypersensitivity reactions. Once a week dose of 7.5 to 20 mg.
