It has been over 40 days since the start of this month.
I'm not usually someone who drinks a lot, but at some point, I started having one or two drinks every day. Every evening, whether it's soju, wine, or beer, I had to drink. I originally have insomnia, but I thought alcohol would help, so on nights I couldn't drink, I would have a glass before bed. However, I was a bit worried. Alcohol addiction isn't about drinking a lot at once, but about habitually drinking one or two drinks every day. So, I decided to stop before it became more serious. The first week was not easy, but after a week, it became manageable. During company dinners, I lied about taking stomach medicine and didn't drink, and on the days I couldn't resist, I only had one glass of soju!
Since I stopped drinking alcohol, I eat less late-night snacks and lost 2kg along with my diet. Summer is the beer season, so I'm a bit worried, but I plan to endure it well. To those who are abstaining this week, fighting!
