I recommend Seoul Kids Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic located in Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu.

It is located at Isu Station by subway. The hospital recently moved and is now situated on the 2nd floor of the E-Mart building at Isu Station~~ Thinking about that spot, it used to be a rice noodle restaurant~ It had been vacant for a while, and then the hospital I know moved there. ^^

It was originally on the 5th floor of the building next to Megabox at Isu Station~~ I believe it moved due to building remodeling~~ The previous building had inconvenient parking, but thanks to moving to the E-Mart building, parking has become very convenient~

There are pharmacies on both the second and first floors of the hospital building. Since there are multiple hospitals in the building~~ ^^ Next to the consultation room, there is an injection room and also an IV room nearby.

And true to the pediatric department~ there's also a body composition device for height measurement~ it's next to the door, but I didn't take a picture;;; lol

 

Actually, for mothers living in Sadang, Dongjak-gu or Bangbae, Seocho-gu, who have children, it's a hospital that probably no one doesn't know about, so I wouldn't need to specifically tell you... you might just say, "Oh, that place?"

All of my friends' children are regulars... haha

Because the hospital is very kind and provides excellent medical care, I wanted to leave a compliment here. The doctor is a male, and there seem to be about three nurses, all of whom are very friendly and cheerful, so I always feel really good when I visit the hospital.

Children come to the hospital without crying or fussing, smiling happily and receiving treatment well.

Actually, parents with children often feel frustrated when the hospital doesn't explain things in detail even when their child is sick.

But here, they consult with each person in detail and kindly, so I guess that's why they have many regulars~~

Since the move was recent, the hospital facilities have become much cleaner and more tidy than before.

The facility is well-equipped with toys, figurines, fairy tale books, and other items that children enjoy.

 

Basically, you are good at treating children, but these days, because of COVID-19, you can also get COVID-19 diagnostic tests immediately, and adults can have internal medicine check-ups or various vaccinations, making it very convenient.

Although outpatient hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, evening clinics are available until 20:00, so working families also find it difficult to receive treatment in the afternoon.

 

I couldn't resist taking a picture because the sight of my dad and sibling chatting happily while waiting for their appointment was so adorable. Since they're wearing masks, you can't tell who they are, right??? If it's a problem, I can delete it;;;;

Actually, the reason I recommend this hospital is because they provide excellent medical care in many ways and are also very friendly, but there is one particular aspect I want to praise very much.

Last year, a foreign instructor working at our place kept experiencing symptoms such as inability to eat food, vomiting, and weakness without knowing the exact cause, which caused her to suffer. She couldn't speak Korean at all, so she couldn't go to the hospital alone and was having a hard time. When I heard that she hadn't been able to eat food for several days, I thought she should at least receive IV fluids, so I urgently contacted the hospital and explained the situation.

They kindly invited me to visit, so I took them there, received medical treatment, got IV therapy, and received friendly assistance. Even though they are a foreigner, they said they were struggling in another country, so they provided good quality IV fluids and offered them at a very affordable price. While they were receiving IV therapy, I returned to work first, and the nurse informed me how much they had received at each time interval, and she occasionally checked in to make sure they were comfortable, which I was very grateful for.

Since then, the instructor went alone to receive treatment and medication, and was doing well until the contract period ended and they returned to New Zealand. Sometimes they contact us and say they are very grateful, asking us to convey their thanks when we visit the hospital. I feel proud knowing they left Korea with good memories.
