What I was most worried about was definitely the side effects of LASIK!

Light sensitivity, dry eyes, night blindness..

They reassured me that vision correction surgery has relatively few side effects compared to other surgeries.

And I heard that the director himself and all the other doctors had surgery, haha.

What is Today LASIK?

There are quite a few types of LASIK, but I had Today LASIK.

Impressions after the visit

First of all, I've heard a lot of people say that LASIK is painful.

Honestly! It hurt a lot at the beginning.

As the anesthesia wore off, it gradually started to hurt.

Still, it was only a bit tough until the first or second day.
From the third day onwards, even though the focus wasn't perfect, I started to see quite well.

After about 4 or 5 days, the pain almost disappeared.

They say you can see well right after LASIK surgery.

With LASIK, you can see clearly for about a week.

The director explained this well in advance, so I wasn't worried, and I managed it well by using artificial tears.

 

 

Wasn't the time you spent worrying a waste?

I was so nervous on the day of the surgery that I was trembling in the waiting room.

The surgery was short, so it finished really quickly.

Looking back now, I am so satisfied that I feel like I worried for nothing.
Most of all, being able to live without contact lenses or glasses has truly changed my quality of life!!

There aren't really any downsides, but if I had to pick one...

With LASIK, you wear a protective corneal lens for one week after surgery, and then

I'll go back to the hospital in a week to have the lenses removed and get an examination, and that's it.

Depending on the person, this process might be considered a bit cumbersome.

 

 

What is your current level of satisfaction?

Fortunately, I haven't experienced any side effects after the surgery.

I don't have any glare, and I've had dry eyes for a long time.

It’s something that can be covered with artificial tears, so I’m not worried about it.

After the surgery, regular check-ups were free for one year, twice at six-month intervals.

I'm not sure if it's still free.

I liked it even more because it is an ophthalmology clinic that provides thorough aftercare.

Even now, unless it is a minor eye condition, I continue to go to this hospital for regular checkups.

The fact that I can see the whole world so clearly when I open my eyes is truly a whole new world!
