As the weather gets warmer these days, there are more things to worry about!

This is a photo of the area around my neck. If you look at the skin on the side and bottom of my neck, there are several small, dot-shaped bumps. Honestly, since it is summer and my skin is getting a little more exposed, I am very self-conscious about it.

I was planning to visit a dermatologist, but people around me told me it was a skin tag. It isn't very big, but it bothers me aesthetically, so I am considering having it removed.

What is the difference compared to simply applying cream at home, how long the procedure takes, and how much pain is involved?

I am wondering if there is a possibility of scarring or recurrence after removal.
