The medical team examining the patient attributed the man's liver damage to the green tea extract-containing supplement.
The recommended daily intake of catechin is 300 mg. According to a study by a Kyung Hee University research team published in the Korean Journal of Food Science and Technology, when 10 domestic and foreign green tea bag varieties were extracted in 150 mL of 70℃ water for two minutes, the catechin content ranged from 33.8 mg/g to 74.7 mg/g. Drinking between four and nine cups of tea will meet the recommended daily intake of catechin.
Meanwhile, besides coffee and green tea, there are other foods that cause conflict among dieters: celery and cucumber. While both are diet foods, if I had to choose, celery is more beneficial for weight loss than cucumber.
