Review of procedures I've managed for 2 years to correct uneven facial lines — I had them done in the order of Oligio and Juvelook Volume.
After finishing my orthodontic treatment, I lost so much weight in my face that the uneven lines became much worse. (Is this what a peanut shape is...?!) I've been managing it step-by-step for two years, but I'll share mainly the procedures I've undergone.
The first treatment I started with was Oligio. Since I have very little facial fat, I was worried about cheek hollowing with ultrasound-based treatments, so I chose radiofrequency. When I went for consultations, everyone told me that I didn't need Thermage at my age. The saying that Oligio is like a savings account really resonated with me. The effects weren't immediately visible, but after getting treatments consistently for a year or a year and a half, I could feel my jowls gradually lifting and my facial lines becoming more defined.
There is one thing I really want to tell you: with Oligio, you need to receive 600 shots at once. They told me during the consultation that 300 shots are ineffective. The pain isn't severe, but it gets hot enough to bring tears to your eyes when they work near the bone. Still, it is bearable. I get it every six months.
second This is Jubelook Volume. I had it injected mainly on my cheeks, sides, and nasolabial folds. Actually, I had almost given up on getting collagen injections at a different clinic at first because it swelled up so severely.
Later, I switched hospitals and had my second session; there was no swelling, and my friends said it looked like it had filled in a little. The doctor said that collagen was being produced well and that I didn't need a third session, so I finished with just two.
I think the line changed as the procedures accumulated together rather than one by one.
Please take note if you have similar concerns :)
