How long does the effect usually last after treating acne scars with Juvelook?

My son has quite a few pitted scars because he tends to pick at his acne with his hands when he is stressed. I have heard that Juvélook is effective for improving pitted scars, so I am wondering how many treatment sessions are required to see results and how long the effects typically last. He still gets occasional breakouts these days, so I am also wondering if it is okay to proceed with the Juvélook treatment.
