[Plenue Clinic] Juvelook Review: From procedure pain to embossing, recovery, and skin texture at 2 months
I usually felt my skin texture was rough and was concerned about the pores in my butterfly zone, so I had been managing it with home care alone, but then I tried the Juvelook treatment at Planue Clinic. My cheeks kept looking drier and my pores seemed more prominent, so I wanted to manage my skin texture and fine lines as well, rather than just moisturizing.
After comparing several places and getting a consultation, I decided to proceed with a treatment tailored to my skin condition. I received a 2cc Juvelook hand injection for 240,000 won, including VAT. I received the Juvelook in mid-July, and about two months have passed. I will write in detail about how my skin has changed, covering everything from the procedure itself to how it evolved over time.
🔹Procedure time, pain
The anesthesia took about 15 minutes, and the procedure itself took about 15 minutes. Including the waiting time, I think it took about 40 minutes in total.
Just like with Rejuran, I was always nervous before the procedure for Juvelook because it involves a manual injection. Since this was my second time, it was better than the first, but that doesn't mean I wasn't afraid of the injection pain. They applied plenty of numbing cream before the procedure, and I did feel a slight stinging sensation. However, I tried to endure it by thinking about the benefits, and since I was able to mention any discomfort during the treatment, I was able to go through the process a bit more smoothly.
🔹 Immediately after the procedure
After the treatment, small bumps appeared at every injection site. When viewed up close, they looked slightly raised here and there, but they subsided significantly after about three days. Since I received the treatment over a holiday, it was perfect for recovery, and on the day of the procedure, I focused on moisturizing rather than rubbing hard to avoid irritating the skin.
*Procedure Tip: Bruising can occur if you are nervous, so it would be helpful to relax as much as possible during the procedure!
🔹 Recovery on Days 2–3
Even the next day, there were still slight injection marks visible up close, but they weren't bothersome enough to interfere with daily life. The bumps noticeably diminished after about 2 to 3 days, and by the 5th day, my skin felt more stable overall, so I was satisfied!
🔹 After 2 months
The changes in my pores that I had been hoping for were more noticeable than I expected. Rather than saying my pores disappeared, the skin around my butterfly zone, which used to be particularly prominent when I was barefaced, looked smoother than before, and the areas that felt rough due to dryness were also slightly less noticeable. As for fine lines, rather than disappearing completely, it felt more like my skin became firmer and they stood out less.
🔹 Conclusion: Do I recommend the Jube look?
I wanted a change where my skin improved and my overall appearance became more vibrant, rather than a noticeable change where my face just got plumper. Now that about two months have passed, I feel like I’m getting closer to the look I was hoping for. It’s not a procedure that shows results overnight, but I felt it was worth waiting for the gradual changes. I’m also looking forward to seeing how my skin texture and pores improve after the next session. I hope my experience can be of some help to those who, like me, don’t have much facial fat and are looking for a natural transformation!
