Tooth care

My teeth are not healthy yet, but I am managing them in my own way.

The gum around the tooth that was crowned about 20 years ago is receding.

My gums have become very weak, and I was told I will need implants later on, but I would like to get implants when I am a bit older.

Is there a good way to properly care for a tooth with a crown? I brush my teeth more than three times a day, and after brushing, I use an oral irrigator to remove debris from between my teeth with water pressure.
